Kforce has a PERMANENT POSITION for an Inpatient Coder LOCATED North West of Boston, MA in the Medical Records Department of Health Information Management. <BR><BR>This is a non-profit 179 bed community hospital located 20 miles West of Boston. Become a member of the dynamic Medical Records Department. Join this Coding Team and report to the Coding Supervisor. The Inpatient Health Information Management Coder analyzes the content of patient medical records to identify diagnoses, procedures, complications, and co-morbidities. You will assign diagnostic and procedure codes according to Coding Clinic Official Coding Guidelines using the principals of ICD-9-CM and CPT-4 coding systems in an accurate and timely manner. You will abstract data into the hospital-wide database. Assures appropriate reimbursement from third party Payors within regulatory guidelines by utilizing grouper software and required classification systems.
